On heat cycle ONLY (not during cool-down) If door is opened, The Drum keeps turning VERY slowly, the pump keeps running, and heater stays on.. any ideas please. Ta Gary..

    Sounds like it’s haunted?

Blimey! Surely if the door is opened the thing should stop? First off the Door Interlock I would think. If it is a early version of this fine vintage then it may have a mechanical relay (as apposed to a PCB on later models – see date code?) and that relay might be playing silly bu$$ers??

Best of luck with it Gary! 😉

hi, if it has a pump that is running it must be a CTD condenser model, the door switch at the top often jams so that the door can be opened & it still runs, the door catch is seperate

Just had a quick look through all CTD models on PF and there is no sign of a door interlock, bitron or otherwise.

    Jim.
