hi this dishwasher is taking about 4 hours to complete a wash , customer says that the dishes are clean when its finished any ideas would be great cheers alan

have you seen it take 4 hours to complete? or are you taking the customers word for it also is it a new machine? which possible takes longer than her/his previous model?

DF21 has got to be at least 10 to 15 years old. 😉
Poor fill rate due to faulty fill valve/safety pressure switch is one possibility. The rubber diaphragm in the valve deteriorates. I usually manage to repair the valve by splitting a bog standard fill valve and swapping the diaphragm etc over.
A no heat fault on this would stop the machine mid cycle.
It should fill three times and then kick into action in less than a couple of minutes.
