hotpoint dwf 33 heat/burning smell

have to look at this.she says there is a heat/burning smell from it but that it is finishing the cycle no problems.is there any component in these that give this problem or will it be an easy one to see the failing component?

DWF33s have the sketchy bosch modules in them. Guaranteed to be cooked beyond repair if cust can smell it. Save yourself a trip and advise she contact hotpoint reffering bshs recall on dishwashers theyve built. Pcb is £66net at qtx, 101@connect, both special order, so if shes willing to spend 160 to wait for a module to maybe turn up (iirc hotpoint have made their stock obsolete) then go for it otherwise garner yourself a load of brownie points with her and tell her to get hpt involved wholl prob replace whole dw
