but knowing what the fault codes mean gives you the area to look at.

our machine stopped working completely, no lights at all. There is power to the pump, if i operate the water level microswitch manually the machine empties. So now when the machine is turned on there is no action at all and no lights on the front, my wife said she heard a ‘puff’
(her words) and it stopped, she hears all sorts when she wants a new one!

sounds like an element blowing perhaps, left my test meter at work so cant check that yet. Is there a reset button on these.

You have a DWF— ? The flood protection system is on a separate circuit which is live as long as the machine is plugged in. I cannot recommend that you operate it manually. If the controls are not lighting up at all, it would imply that some sort of control board has blown. Nasty.

Power off if investigating further.
