Hotpoint DWF31N/17

Hi guys

I’ve got one of these Hotpoint dishwashers not heating, the microswitch
on the element is in o/c state. Is it necessary to replace the whole heater unit or is it possible to replace a component that holds microswitch in n/c state. If so, does anyone have a part number ‘cos I can only find number for heater unit.

Hi Albert.

If I recall the microswitch should be o/c until the circulation of water activates it, the pressure pushes a diaghram behind the switch.

If that part is faulty the a new heater unit is required, part number 1801924.
