Hotpoint DWF31P SGSHPE4GB Dishwasher dispenser problems.

Fitted a new dispenser unit to this machine and the powder door won’t release. Tried a direct mains supply lead on the new part – door releases. Then tried the old unit again – also releases the door perfectly. 😳 Took out the module and on very close inspection, the triac (??) directly above the dispenser connection plug looks suspect (it looks as if a piece of the body has chipped off). New PCB time!!
Looked on Connections (pt. no. 5031 689 465 298) module is now obsolete!! 😯
Anyone know of a possible alternative PCB or where I could obtain one. Anyone had the same fault? Surely a PCB shouldn’t fail just working the dispenser unit; especially as it’s a Bosch clone. 😕

Hmm, Hotpoint show it as obsolete as well 😕

As it’s a common module, send it to EMW http://www.emwelec.co.uk they should be able to repair it for you 🙂
