ModeratorOnly have a manual for DWF 30/1/2 models.
Anyone know if the Test sequence for the DWF34 is the same as DWF32?. Had a call to one today but due to the problems with my car ( electronic key needs a modification, and Volvo UK have put a ‘Golden block’ on the parts, so they will not be released to the dealers until 16th May πΏ )
I did not have my manuals with me today.Initial complaint was no fill, checked the clear plastic pipe along the front and all the usual suspects. When switched on and before you select a program it seems to try to start, you can hear the pump, although it seems to be stuttering, also a faint clicking noise, then it switches the water valve on and sits there. I can get the programme to end and register ‘0’ in the display and I somehow β got it to fill once. If you then open and close the door and switch On, it starts up with 18 in the display but makes all the aforementioned noises. I suspect the control module is on the blink but I have never had to change a module on this appliance. is it Bosch or Brandt?

Think itβs a Bosch, had a couple of modules causing no fill; One obviously burnt on the connection block, one not.

Got the machine to run on test using the S2 & S4 buttons as in the WDF32 manual. display sticks on 1, pressing S3 will not advance to next step of test programme as it should. Error code 1 is supposed to be turbidity sensor fault according to DWF 30/1/2 manual, even though it also states that in fact none of DWF30/1/2 models actually have a turbidity sensor. Checking PartFinder shows that the DWF34 does have a turbidity sensor, anyone had any problems with this and is it an inner tub out to access job?
Also noticed that selecting S2 & S4 to ‘end programme’ switches the display to 0, but it sometimes sticks for several minutes without switching off.
I did have a look at the plastic hose that runs along the front of the pump that often gets blocked, it was as clean as new.January 25, 2006 at 5:06 pm #161996Martin

That indicates to me it must be the Module, on reset it should go to “0” then turn off after 60 seconds and not a moment longer.

If that hose is clear you can bet the turbidary sensor is as well!

My thoughts exactly on both counts. π
