Any ideas would be appreciated – thanks
I have a Hotpoint DWF34 that stopped mid cycle due to a blown fuse. So i changed the fuse and found the unit was “stuck” mid cycle. I therefore pressed the reset or programme end buttons (as per the manual suggests). This started the unit draining water etc once the timer reached zero this is where it has stayed despite all efforts. So the display shows zero and programme light is on 50 degrees cycle. All other button pushes or power cycles make no difference.
I have removed the water in pipe and tested pressure – all ok
I have removed the dirty water out pipe and tested its clear, no kinks etc – all ok
I have removed all the filters (washed etc), tipped the unit to displace any water and removed the cover in the sump to the impeller to check it isn’t jammed – all ok also
Now getting bored and have run out of ideas!! Hoping to try any last minute ideas before the unit becomes landfill!
Any ideas or suggestions??? Thanks in advance..
