Hotpoint DWF40 dishwasher fault codes

Hi
Does anybody know the list of fault codes for this dishwasher.
The wash and drying lights are flashing, the prewash works ok and after it stops.
I have spoke to Hotpoint and they thought it might be a restriction with the water inlet (but they did not inspire confidents)
Anyway i have checked all water inlets and filters for restrictions and everything looks ok.
I have e,mailed and asked Hotpoint for a list of the codes but have had no repley.
I am a bit p***** off with them as this machine is just out of warranty and the want to charge me £89.94 for a call out and the machine has had problems before.
Anyway if any of you have any more information it would be much appreciative.

This one is an Ariston clone by the looks of it.

Count the flashes, there should be a pause between them.

The fault code will only be a general guidline for engineers, they are rarely a definitive diagnostic tool and often unreliable. Plus they are copyright protected, hence Merloni’s lack of response to your requests.
