Hotpoint DWF40 error code

Morning all,
Got one of these with first and last lights flashing (Pre, wash, rinse, dry)
for call tomorrow. Happening after fill before motor kicks in then drains. Any idea’s.

Thanks Mark,

She’s rung again to tell me it’s now led’s 2 and 4 so the heater sounds cheaper than a software fault. She might even pay for that one 😉

Fault code spot with this one.
Heater element ( Whirlpool tube type) down to earth.
Very much like the Indesit dishwashers but you dont have to strip the thing down to get the bottom plate off!! 😀

You dont? Why not all the ones we have done we have, having said that the heater can be changed from the side and TTTT I have got used to stripping these things down now.
