hotpoint DWF50 fault code

    can anyone please help.. Have already repaired open circuit on positive line to pcb. Turn on machine, lights up on programe select, but cant change settings..when you press start/reset..the 40deg rapid and 50deg eco..start flashing.
    have checked heater /pump / inlet water valve all ok.
    would be gratful for any help..first time used this forum..

    maybe I could help but I need some more information.After number “50” should be some letter like P or N or S or PT.I need your e-mail to send Service Manual.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your help Dragan, my email is ableappliance@gmail.com.

    – There is a bank of lights to indicate which program you choose.Two of those lights being 40deg / 50deg, are flashing. There are no letter codes on this machine. Lights flash to indicate faults.

    If you look on page #2 of the ‘known error codes’ thread, at the top of this forum, Lotusray has posted the error codes that relate to the Hotpoint DWF40/50 models with the 100bit module.

    Change the heater…..it worked for me.
