Machine stops at economy 40 (or other number i forget) and flashes. I tried tipping machine 45 degrees as mentioned in another post, water did come out. Machine then started again, but stopped after 5mins. 😯 I am assuming that this a problem with the flood protection thingy. How can I resolve this problem? Water isnt getting to the machine at all and i have checked pipes/pump etc

Please tell us the error codes (flashing lights) you are getting. List them from left to right as you see them (i.e Light 1, light2 etc)

It’s my neighbours machine, i think its 3rd light from left, just one that flashes. Her mum is now buying her a new machine… Do u think the problem is fixable? If so I might try an pursuade her to give machine to me (i haven’t got one) 😉

There is more to life than picking up a faulty Hotpoint DWF50 dishwasher. Banging your head against a brick wall would be less pain inflicting, believe me. 😉
