ParticipantHi – this probably sounds silly but I can’t find the heater on this machine, I have looked under the base panel and in the front with no success. Can someone help please.
Andy 😀

Is this the one with the timer at the base similar to the DWF53, if so heater should be at the front on the R/H side at the bottom

I’m pretty sure this is a flow through type and is best accessed by removing the r/h (from front) side panel which is easily done if the machine is not too badly built-in!

It’s at the back and attaches to the upper spray arm feed tube, between the turbidity sensor and there 😀

I think I will go with Dave’s advice as if it is at the back it explains why i could not find it – but thanks everyone for your help.
This machine is electronic with an heater error code. I strongly suspect the relay on the module but want to check the supply to the heater first.
Andy 😀
PS I felt a bit of a titty telling the customer i could not find the heater, but I have come to the conclusion that it is better to be up front about these things.

The heaters themselves are prone to failure on these, make sure you get two suitable clips if you have to change it. I find the easiest way is to lie machine on its left hand side and attack it from underneath.

Job sorted
Found the heater OK and it was o/c.
I was quite impressed with the ease of access on these models. Bottom panel off (six screws) and everything very easy to work on. Not like some dishwashers today.
Thanks everyone, very much appreciated.
Andy 😀
PS. Dave – You are a very rude boy! 😳
