ParticipantGuys, i went out to this merloni made d/w, found that the circ pump has ceased, quoted for new one and got the job. On my return i fitted the new motor, all seemed fine ie filled and then started to wash, lovely jubbly i thought until i checked and found water on the bottom plate, decided that ther heavy duty cable-ties were not good enough so i used jubile clips and though problem sorted, NOW it fills and and then pump’s straight out with lights 3 and 5 coming on, looked in my book and see that it points me to the circ pump. I have since done the following things but to no avail
1) Dryed out the bottom with a hair dryer for 10 mins NO JOY 🙁
2) Disconected the wire to the circ pump and connected the up old pump NO JOY 🙁
3) Disconected the earth of the appliance thinking that something sensitive is causing the fault, guess what NO JOY 🙁
Any ideas Guy’s? ive told him that the machine might have water somwhere and will need to be dryed outGoing back in the morning and need help guys!!!!

Firstly i would never use cable ties on these i always use small jubilee clips, which side did you lay the dishwasher down on, it sounds like you may have water in the pressure hose causing an air lock this will cause this fault take the hose off the pressure sw and blow the blocage out, always lay the machine on the left hand side from the front if you use the other side water will get trapped in the pressure hose. Hi Johnnyj, i did lay it on the p/switch side but i also took of the hose and blew down it, i also dryed out the p/switch with the hairdryer, so lets see if that has cured it in the morning unless someone has any other idea???????

Did you blow into the pressure switch as well to make sure it was working?
