Participantcirculation pump seems to me to be slow, its not pumping much water through the rotating arms, ive checked
filters clean
water feed hose clean
can rotate pump by hand
i read about running on the starting windings in one of the posts, how can you tell if this is so.June 19, 2006 at 6:15 pm #179483Martin

It’s more likely a water starvation/circulation problem and not a motor problem. If you fail to use salt in hard water area then that can cause problems with the instanteneous water heater and its control valve.
Time for expert intervention I would suggest (Click on link below) 😉

stripped pump down and checked motor- thats ok , however white seven bladed rotor is very worn, with no points to physically connect it to blue plastic drive- can i get just this rotor

Yep, you can 🙂
I’ll need the serial number to identify though as there were two different circulation motors used on this model.

Dave will need the one from the rating plate of the appliance, not the motor code.

holding fire on the impellor for the moment,
as I have already rebuilt existing – it basically a domestic heating pump impellor. only meant to be temporary job tho, and all is nearly fine except timing as shown on display . originally after fault whatever program selected – it said ( apart from cold prewash) 2hrs to go. now quick wash says 29 mins to go ( as it used to before fault), is the machine clever, ie is it learning as it goes .PS as a heating engineer i have to take boilers and sometimes houses apart to fit things and its a damm site easier than this – my hats off to you if you do it for a living
