Hotpoint DWF70 Demo fault?

Hi folks

Been to this one today and think there is a fault with the board or its somthing simple I am missing..

Comes up flashing Demo.. I press the reset button and clear it to the dashes… reselect a program and start and it imediately starts flashing demo again and stops on that for about a minute slowly going through the progam progression indicators on the r/h side till it get to the end and flashes up “end”..

All the other program options seem to select ok on the L/H side so presume this is a faulty board as no other fault code is indicated.. it just keeps going into this demo indiction.. no water is being taken in or any program functions activated..

Unless it is something simple but I have tried the reset option to no availe

Any help or comments appreciated..

Try pressing the start and the on/off buttons together for about five seconds, that should take it out of demo mode.

Thanks Don.. Phoned custmer with those instructions and cured problem… Why on earth do Hotpoint make m/c with demo mode in the 1st place beats me?
