Hotpoint DWM75A Dishwasher

Hi, I am getting a AL03 error on this dishwasher. The unit doesn’t seem to be filling. I have checked the inlet and there are no blockages there. I am technically minded but not had any dealings with white goods. Sounds to my novice ear like a solenoid type fault. Any suggestions please?

The drain pump is blocked 😉

Not having a manual or anything is the drain pump easily accessible and straightforward to clear?

Andy,

Not in the least easy to access. I would recommend you contact a local independant engineer to take a look (unless of course it is still under warranty – in which case call Hotpoint out!)

Unfortunately, the 13 month timer chip has kicked in just out of 12 month warranty. Looks like an engineer job then. Thanks for the help

I know this was was asked a while back but Iv’e just had the same problem and found this one thread on a google search. Its the pump and its the same solution for Model DWF70 and there’s more solutions for this model. I found a pictorial guide at

very useful. So if you stubble upon this. Good Luck, its an easy fix.
