Hotpoint DWT10 Not Filling!!!! About to buy a new one!

I have a 3 year old Hotpoint DWT10 full size dishwasher. It has been faultless until now.

When you start a cycle (any cycle) it begins to fill, and then after a couple of minutes, it empties itself and stops. The Fast and Delicate lights flash and also the Rinse Aid light.

We have had it out and checked nothing is stuck. Switched it off for 5 hours to see if it resets itself (it didnt), and checked the water inlet and outlet. We cannot see any obvious problems.

Does anyone have any ideas????

Can you tell us by number from left which lights are flashing, also machine is covered for five years for parts.

Well, awaiting a reply, I did searches on the site! It was the 4th and 6th led’s flashing which was indicated as a heating problem, so hubby dismantled it earlier and found a terminal loose. He re-connected it and ……… Hey Presto IT WORKS!!!!!!!!!

Thanks to this website we have we saved the potential of another £300 outlay for a new machine!!!!

Even if it only lasts for another month, it is better than nothing! 😆
