hotpoint eg900x

this range was originally tripping the rcd but it wont do it now, but i noticed that the cooling fan isnt coming on i by passed the cut in stat and the fan works ok, so i replaced the stat but still no joy? the feed for this comes from the selector switch which is ok,
got to be something im missing???

Just a question but from my rather faded memory does the cut not operate when the temerature of the oven gets to 75c which in turn will than power the fan.

Maybe the old memory box is wrong?? but worth a check

yes i expected that to hapen ive had it on full temp for 15 mins but it still dosent come on?

which oven stat were you working from, worked on a couple of zanussis where the stats were wired to the wrong ovens,

other than that, this sounds daft but im assuming the correct oven for that stat is actually getting hot…

i.e element hasnt gone off the boil ???
