    Hello, I have a Hotpoint Electric Ceramic Hob Model No. E6014 and Serial Number 709190804. The rear left dual radiant ring is switching itself off very frequently before a high temperature is reached to such an extent that a pan of water takes an eternity to boil. Any advice on what’s going on with it. Thanks.

    It will probably be the simmer stat
    ( energy regulator ).
