Hotpoint EW74X oven not working

Hi, my oven is dead(no heat or fan operating)

I have checked the oven element for continuity and that is ok and get power to the element.(but no heat)
the fan has not seized and I get power to both sides of the fan.
which leaves the Thermostat or the door switch???
Any ideas please and advice would be great as the Turkey will not fit in the top oven 🙁

Hi

How are you checking ? Are you using a multimeter or one of those electrical screw drivers. The only way is to use a multimeter to check the wiring.With power off.

Oven timer set to ‘Auto’ perhaps?

I checked the continuity with power off as i found a video on you tube on how to do it.
Yes I did use a multimeter.
NO oven not set to Auto

What is the normal procedure to check ovens that do not work ?
