    Been to a Hotpoint EW84 cooker grill is working both sides but not reaching a temperature high enough to cook under i.e make toast.. does this model use an energy regulator or is it controlled by a potentiometer then via the control board has anyone any info on this model or advice on what may be causing the problem

    Energy regulator,MDA6204035 is the part number I think but double check with supplier.
