Hello,
I purchased a Hotpoint EW85SS Cooker 4 years ago and within this time I have had to replace the heating element in the main oven 4 times.
Has anyone else had the same problem with this cooker, as I am wondering if it is a design fault within the cooker.

Fan oven elements do fail at a higher rate than old style conventional elements.
The one in this machine is no worse and is actually better than some others.
I have had Bosch & Electrolux (Zanussi) elements failing in less than six months quite often. 😥
Are you fitting genuine elements?
Think you may be a little out with the age as well, first produced in 2002 and superceded a couple of years later.
