I recently purchased a new Experience (mid November 2013)although I think it has a fault. 😯

The ‘rinse aid empty warning lamp’ will not go out despite trying to change the rinse volume setting and the level of rinse aid in accordance with the instructions. The rinse aid also doesn’t seem to be going down although it is difficult to tell.

I contacted Indesit help desk for advice who told me to check the rinse container was full, which it is and to turn the machine off at the mains and on again. The latter made no difference.

An engineer has been booked for Saturday to have a look 😮 , but thought I would ask for advice as (in between trying to sell me things I don’t want) the help desk pointed out several times that I would be charged if there was not a fault.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Does a warning lamp that will not go out constitute a fault?
    Have I missed something?

If the rinse aid container is full and the warning light is on then it would appear to be faulty, but it is an Indesit, anything is possible. :rolls:
