Can anyone explain to me how the system on these fridge freezers work? They seem to have some sort of valve controlled by the board that splits the line from the condenser into two allowing the the gas into the fridge and freezer to be controlled independently on one compresser. Is this right? Ive seen this system once or twice before on other makes but dont fully understand it.

subs generally the valve controls flow to the fridge if it needs cooling if not it is closed the freezer always gets cooling. thats my understanding of it.
