I am desperate for some help please…

The dishwasher is a Hotpoint FDED 51110 Experience and it has the following symptoms:-

    1) The cycle is going extremely slowly – it states the time left on the digital display, but it takes much longer than stated/stays stuck at 2 minutes to go, etc.

    2) When finishing, an F10 error is flashing on the LED display.

    3) There doesn’t seem to be any hot water going through it. Everything inside is still soaking wet after the cycle and there is no heat when opening the door.

I bought it exactly 2 years ago.

Thank you to anyone who has any ideas or can point me in the right direction.

well you have almost answered your own post

its a heat problem. the heater is not working so machine takes longer

there is a few things it could be but you need to find and test the heater first

    Thank you for your reply.

Are there any websites which show where the heater is located in this model?

Thank you again for your help.

no but most use a heater the is either part of the wash motor or in a tube leading into or out of the motor. either way its in the base

Part of the wash pump on these but there are two different ones, not that cheap either.

    Decided to cut my losses…

Went out and bought a Bosch today. Hopefully will have better luck with that one!

Might try to sell the Hotpoint on eBay for spares.
