ParticipantThe machine starts, fills and agitates ok. After about eight minutes, the super wash, slow spin, time saver, and eco wash led’s start flashing and it goes into pump out mode. I’ve checked all heaters, all ok. I’m suspecting a control module heater circuit fault. Any ideas please? Also, I I’ve looked at modules just in case, but it seems they only come unprogrammed. Any assistance greatly appreciated thank you. Steve.

Moderatorfault code on these will be the vertical lights on the right
from the bottom which ones are lit and not lit
Dave
normally the lights are binary so first light is worth 1 when lit , the next 2 followed by 4, 8 and 16 you add these up to get code

ParticipantThank you for your reply Electrofix. Only light illuminated on the vertical bank is the door locked light. The four horizontal lights are flashing.

Moderatorok that look like poss fault 1
fault 1 is motor triac problem but earth leakage on the motor has been known to cause this on some machines
could be as simple as carbon dust also chech for small leaks onto motor

ParticipantCheers Dave. Motor is brushless and works fine. It seems to get to heat pause, then go into fault mode. At the moment she’s waiting until it goes into fault mode, then restarting on the rinse and spin programme to finish the wash, which it does without a problem. Steve.

ParticipantThank you for that Dave, it’s very much appreciated. I think in light of all the facts, I’m certain in my mind that the fault lies in the PCB. My problem now is that the only PCB’s I can find are all unconfigured. Looks like a I recommend a call to Hotpoint . Thank you for your help. Steve.
