Hotpoint FDFL11010G not draining

Hello.

I have a Hotpoint FDFL11010G dishwasher and, when it gets towards the end of a cycle, it stops and warning lights flash. There is lots of water still left in the bottom.

I have checked the draining outlet hose and it’s clear and have even changed the pump and it’s still doing the same thing. When the outlet hose is lowered below the water level the water drains out freely so it’s as if the newly fitted pump is simply not running.

Any suggestions?

what was wrong with the old pump
also did you fit correct pump as there seems to be more than one

The draining was broken so I checked for blockages and there was no issue so I replaced the pump. Still not working. I can’t tell if the old pump is broken since the drainage issue is still there with both pumps, I guess the actual parts are both fine and the root cause is something else.

well i would check wiring to the board and then look at the board for damage
