I’ve changed the inlet valve on the above as the customer states it fills up when not in use and machine empties into a standpipe. Customer now tells me it came on without being activated last night and is filling overnight again. Has anyone else had a similar issue with these dishwashers ?

Is it powered up when this occurs?

It’s plugged in but turned off, door closed.

if it overfills, even when off, it will “come on” and pump out the water assuming is still plugged in. Was there c rap in the old valve’s filter when you took it out? might just be repeated valve failure due to rubbish coming down the pipes. Faulty water softener (in the house not the one in the dishwasher) are favourites for this. If not then stick a voltmeter on the valve incase the electronic is feeding it with a few volts.

Valve filter was clean, no water softener are required in this soft water area. I suspect valve is being fed when not in use from the board.
