    Hi All

Need a bit of help with machine I have been to see this morning.

Customer reported smoke coming from back yesterday, this morning Everything meggered fine, no evidence of damage underneath. I ran machine up, drained ok filled ok, when fill was finished there was an electrical “popping” sound which I assume came from the heater, but the machine ran fine for me and the heater was working.

Have told customer not to use the machine until I can say definatley where the smoke came from.

    All help greatly apprieciated

I had the same thing a few years back. it turned out to be the motor, the comm had two bad segments which was causing a crackling pop and sometimes smoke. Don’t know if that helps you at all.

Mains filter can also cause this problem.

Did you unplug heater? The connector can melt.

Thanks for replys, yep unplugged heater and connector was fine.

Think I will change suppressor and if that doesnt fix it then will look at the motor.
