Hotpoint FDW20 – 2 flashing lights

Hi, have got first two lights flashing which are prewash and wash, sounds like its trying to drain the machine, when i open the door there is still water on the bottom of the machine.

Can anyone assist?

A drain time out.
These Indesit machines are prone to pump obstructions, usually small pieces of glass or bone getting stuck inside the drain pump.

Pump can be accessed from underneath once you have removed the mains plug. Just follow the grey drain hose back into the machine to locate the pump.
