    Above dishwasher has prewash light flashing constantly and sounds like its continuusly trying to drain-unable to reset
    machine

    Always best to give the lights by number from the left. 😉

    However if it is light No:1 then you have a flooded base. Not uncommon on these Indesit machines.

    Place a few towels on the floor, remove the mains plug and tilt the machine to one side.
    If water runs out then retry the machine, if it runs fine then it may well just be oversoaping, this can happen if you use the combination tablets.

    If it fails very soon afterwards then you have an internal leak that needs investigating.

    Thanks IAdom for help; that’s fixed it.

    Lower spray arm had dislodged and let water into base
