Hi hope you can help. I`ve read everyone elses contributions on these contraptions and I am a little stuck / need a bit of reassurance. Problem is d/w flashes up 2 and 4 = poss heater, p/swt connections etc.. as per list. This machine does not do this everytime, perhaps once in every 3 washes. I`ve mega`d the heater= ok, checked the wiring=ok, visually checked the pcb for dodgy solderings on the relay = no problem seen. Even so I think it is the pcboard but want to know what part c00142435 high pressure m/swt thing does embedded in a hose; what does this part do , any ideas? The machine sounds good on wash and everything works just fine but as I said 1 in 3 times the poxy machine does fault code 2 and 4 and I`ve been told that it happens mostly on the wash rather than on the last hot rinse but not always….weird……..or is it?

my thanks to Iadom for the manual.
Interesting update and a bit of a wild goose chase too: as you may have read the first post above this was a difficult one to pin point because there was nothing wrong with the element e.g mega ok etc….I changed the pcb yesterday in the hope it was that, it wasn`t, Bugger! I changed this part tested it for 2 washes and worked ok then the trip went off which it had never done before, yes you guessed it was the element. What has /been happening was the continuity of element coil was going open cicuit for 9 secs- a hot spot which a mega will not spot, which of course you cannot see- which was enough for the pcb to sense the element breaking down but sometimes it wouldn`t and the machine would work without a problem to the end; about 1 in 3 times. Now it has finally and permamently has gone o/cir; just needs a new element and the machine should now work; sorting it out next week. Shame the poxy thing didn`t pack up `normally` before buying a new pcb which cannot be returned and so a warning that despite testing to the contrary the 2+4 light fault code is spot on there was just no proof at the time of testing that the element was a duffy.
