    4+6.Heating circuit-heater,connections,module,relay

It needs checking out with a multimeter or meggar. The heater & the control PCB are both common causes of this fault on these Indesit machines. 😥

Mains plug out if you intend to investigate yourself. 😉

Thank you Jim, think maybe it will be worth getting the £15.90 per month deal hotpoint offer 🙁 👿 and make a note never to buy another one 😉

    Re: Hotpoint FDW60

Au contraire, both the heater and PCB are not over expensive, A local independent would be able to do this repair for less than Hotpoints labour charge without a doubt.

What is that about £15.90 a month from Hotpoint. Thats over £190.00 per year. To quote some tennis player ( can’t remember his name 😉 )

    “YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS”. 😯

£159 for the year payable over 10 months. I was thinking, that possibly this could keep happening, so would be cheaper in the long run…maybe I need to rethink lol

    Re: Hotpoint FDW60

I wouldn’t give anybody £159.00 to keep one of these things working. I would put it towards the cost of something decent the next time it broke down.

I would still recommend a local indie for this job.
