No heat fault on first visit. Tested everything and then fitted new PCB. All seemed OK. That was about 2 weeks ago. Got a call just before Christmas to say that the heat had stopped again. 😕 So I just managed to get a PCB on Christmas Eve and of course, it didn’t work. This PCB just lights up all the LED’s and will not function at all. It cannot be programmed or even reset. Strange thing though, the original PCB ran the machine fine, but no heat. The new replacement did exactly the same. I refitted the other board just to check and it started up fine.
Now I’m aware that the unreliability of these PCB’s is legendary, but this is ridiculous.
What am I missing?Any help please!!
Thanks.
Steve.

Sounds like the initial fault is still on there and the new board is stuck in factory test cycle. The timings to reset this need to be spot on, have sent you some reading material.

Thanks, Jim – much appreciated!! Have you got the part number for the 100bit PCB for this machine? Connect numbers are their own part numbers (useless) and Qualtex give 2 types. I am wondering if, in my haste and under pressure from the customer, I may have got the wrong one………..:?

Heats but fails to complete the programme and indicates heating fault. Checked thermister, it wasn’t fully home in it’s slot. Re-fitted it. Tested and still the same.
Srl 70725 4410 so presume C00143209 is the pcb for this ??
Anyone??
Thanks in advance – Steve
