Re: Hotpoint FDW70G SN709111927 – Sticking
Might be something to do with this.
MACHINE SENSORS
If the pressure switch changes to the empty position during a heating phase, the module checks the
heater circuit. If the heater circuit tests OK, the machine will display A05, the blocked filter alarm.
The filter cleaning cycle has been removed from the 7 Digit dishwashers.
If the high pressure sensor closes during the washing phase, the machine pauses for 5 minutes, then continues with the programme. If the pressure sensor is still in the close position, the timer will move the programme to the next phase of the cycle. This process will continue until either the pressor sensors switch to the open position (normal pump pressure) or the programme reaches the end of the cycle.
If the machine filter is seriously blocked with food, the machine will pause and keep advancing the cycle to the next programme phase until the machine reaches a filling phase.
If the blocked filter prevents the pressure switch from switching to the full position after 6 litres of water fill (measured by the fill turbine), the machine will display A05 and abort the cycle.
NOTE: – The pressure sensor microswitch is normally in the closed position and opens at normal
pump pressure.
