Hi, ive got a problem with the micoswitch which has burnt out – door was showing as being open when it was not.

IVe ordered a replacment microswitch but the connecting cable block on the wiring loom is also showing signs of being burnt, 😕 2 questions can this be repalced on its own without having to get a compleate new wiring loom(80 quid) and do you think it would still work once the micro switch is replaced, the connector seems to be intact?

We would normally cut the wiring back to an undamaged part and using butt connectors fit new cable ends. Most of those things can be found at online electrical retailers such as Maplins, CPC etc.

thanks, was worried it was a fused fitment that justified the £80 price tag!
