Hotpoint FDYB11011P dishwasher

Have just replaced the heating element on this appliance but still getting original error code……salt and rinse light flashing and drying light illuminated.
How can I clear this error code?

well the error I read from this is not a heating error but a water error

Hi Dave,

Thanks for the response but my research indicated it was a (a10) heating fault and the heating element was indeed open circuit.
This was subsequently replaced and but the same error lights persisted and I couldn’t start a programme.
I have since managed to reset the error by more luck than anything else by switching on/off whilst holding in various buttons.
The appliance is now working perfectly but I would like to know how to do a reset for any future repairs on these appliances.

Just by starting test procedure. At first step is showing the erorr and at the end of test program error will be cleared or by reprogramming board…

Ok but how do you initiate a test procedure?
