Hi, I have a weird problem with my Hotpoint dishwasher, model FDYF 11011 k Style. On starting the machine fills normally, takes about 100 seconds, and then starts the cycle. That is, it starts to circulate the filled water. For 20 seconds all is fine, then, it starts to beep once every 5 seconds, the red tap indicator with a little red cross underneath lights up on the display and the display reads h2o. This is presumably a water fill problem, except as I say it fills normally, and its not filling at that stage, but circulating. If I leave it, it will carry on circulating and beeping, will run to the end of the rinse and empty. Then it fills again and the beeping stops and error goes away. Then it starts the wash cycle and 20 seconds in starts to beep again and the error shows again. The machine appears to run and wash ok. The water heats up, tablet drops. All the time the beeping continues and the h2o error shows.
I have cleaned the inlet hose filter, which I didn’t think would make any difference and it hasn’t. Hoses are fine, but as I say it fills with water as normal anyway. Removable filters are all clean.
I would be most grateful if someone has any ideas as I’m stumped.
Thanks, Ian
