Had a leak on one of these today , looked underneath and was surprised to see it had a sealed 6kg tank,4 peg motor, pump and filter mounted at the front just like the later WF models. I thought it was a ‘cut and shut’ refurb at first but looking at the wiring harness it was neatly done with black wires replacing the usual white ones and there was a FEW 12 sticker on the back of the cabinet. Was this a hotpoint repair as there was evidence that it had had leaking bearings in the past. The customer said it came from her mothers and didnt know the history.Seems a lot of effort for rather a dubious gain. Just curious.
