    I’ve read quite a few examples of people having issues with the Hotpoint FF187E where the Freezer seems to be working fine but the Fridge stops working, often due to ice build up behind back of the freezer compartment.

    I however seem to have the opposite problem, the fridge seems OK (maybe slightly warmer than normal), but the freezer doesn’t seem to be able to cool below 2.5 degrees. Have checked freezer for ice build up but there’s no sign of ice.

    I would be grateful if anyone can give me any expert opinions before I bite the bullet an just phone an engineer.

    sounds like a system problem to be honest

    engineer time, it could well be b.e.r
