    Hello all.

I have a Hotpoint FF92S fridge/freezer with fridge cooling problems. I have a feeling this may be my own fault, but I thought I’d check with you people firs, and I see that you know Mistrals 😆

I bought the fridge about 3 months ago, and got transported from its previous location to its new home with me, but the problem is, it was laid flat in the back of a van for about 40mins – The duration of the journey.

I believe in my own opinion that it’s going to be that the refridgeration coolant has leaked from the system and will need recharging or something, but I am slightly confused.

The freezer section is running a perfect and contsant -22oC but the fridge section is running at ambient tempurature.

The motor or fan or something can be heard running 24/7 on the machine, and you can feel a very slight air flow movement from the grill at the bottom of the freezer section.

I will point out now, that there is not frost deposits inside the freezer section visibly, unless there is a blockage elsewhere.

If the problem with the machine is electrical/mechanical I will be interested in repairing myself due to my nature, but else, I will be interested if anyone knows of any servicing agents around the Basingstoke area. Although the fridge is less than 5yrs old, I do not have a purchase reciept and I am concerned Hotpoint will require this for the engineer booking otherwise.

Thanks for any help you can provide.
