    My “just out of warranty” FFA52 Fridge Freezer has started buzzing loudly in the control panel area. I am unsure whether it is a chattering relay or there is an alarm buzzer on the PCB. I managed to peep at the pcb but couldnt pull it out fully to have a good look. There are no mentions in the useless operators manual of any alarm.
    All functions appear to be working well.

    A call, an e-mail and some charm and charisma (and prolly the season of goodwill) got the thing repaired. Actually only five days out of warranty.
    You were spot on helo_75 – part fitted today by Hotpoint chap.

    Hotpoint aint all that bad I suppose.
