ParticipantHi, My FF above keeps pooling water in the bottom under the salad bins.
We have put a wire down the drain hole at the back but it touches the bottom on the drip tray with no problem ( i assume it does the wire is as long as the freezer and its touching something somewhere) but water is still pooling.
We took the drip tray off and cleaned it out along with the black tube that fits into the drip tray and attaches to the drain pipe.
We also took the back panel off the freezer inside the freezer but couldnt see anything esembling a drain tube or anything.
Any other ideas please ?? Much appreciated

If you unwind the front feet a little and tilt the fridge back, then pour a little water down the hole does it come out on top of the drip tray on the compressor?also that wire should go all the way down and out by the compressor drip tray.

The hole is always full of water which over spills under the salad bins sorry forgot to mention ! Think we’ll have another bash later when OH comes in making sure the wire is coming out of the bottom and not just hitting a blockageApril 20, 2011 at 10:06 am #349758kwatt

Iv checked it from the underside and it’s frozen !! Bummer. I’ll leave it to defrost when we go on holiday. Tried pouring hotwater down but it’s useless.
Thanks very much guys !
