Hotpoint ffa70 not working

Hi, about 3 days ago my hotpoint fridge freezer began making an extremely loud noise (a bit like an old car trying to start) it has now stopped working compleatly. The lights on the top control panel and internal one still work and it still makes a humming noise but the is no cold produced in both the fridge and freezer.

Can anyone advise me is it worth getting it looked at, or what the problem may be? or would the cost of fixing not be worthwhile?

Sounds like compressor which could be close to £200 to repair.
