3 years ago a freind left the freezer door open while I was on holiday. It was open for 7 days. I can only imagine this being not good for the lifespan of my fridge freezer.
And now about 6 months ago it started to freeze everything in the fridge compartment even tho it was turned up to the highest setting. Also the freezer compartment collects water at the bottom (this collects as it turns to ice). I have on many occasions defrosted the freezer to resolve this problem. But now it constantly blocks (I am thinking this as somthing to do with the fast defrost melting the freezer then it freezing the water back up and blocking the drain hole at the back).
The big question!! is it worth trying to fix it or get a new unit?
