    I have my own FFA97 tall Hotpoint FFA97 fridge freezer, blow the bulb yesterday, replaced with a Wellco 15w, blew that too. Opened the fascia and removed the lamp holder assembly.
    The lamp holder supply is underneath the top panel but for the life of me, I can’t see any screws to remove it or access it. Anyone familiar with Hotpoints?

    I have a recon RLA84 with the same issue which I want to repair too as it has the same issue.

    Any tips?

    I see that the lamp holder has the wires crimped or fastened inside, does anyone know how to remove and replace? Is it a case of cutting the old wires and inserting into the new lamp holder?
