Hotpoint FFA97P Fridge Freezer frost free

Hi! I have a new hotpoint fridge freezer (it replaced one that broke) and I’ve just noticed a dent in the floor of the fridge compartment, just infront of the separate chiller compartment on the edge where the door closes.

It doesn’t interfere with the seal of the door, but I’m a bit worried as the dent appears to have a small crack in it. Do I have to worry about gases leaking, or the fridge not being sealed or anything? I’d appreciate any advice. Thanks.

Hi Tracy

You dont have to worry about any gases as all the main pipe work is usually hidden within the back wall of the appliance. you should be ok to use it.

Thanks for replying so quickly – at least I should sleep tonight now! Like I say, it’s basically brand new so panicking slightly as the last thing I want to do is go through the hassle of dealing with Hotpoint Customer Services!!!!!
