ParticipantI have recently had a common problem with this Fridge Freezer in that whilst the compressor was working, if the top fridge door was open the compressor relay would click in and out in time with the internal light. I have now replaced the main control PCB and the fridge is now working normally, however I am informed that if I change out the main power capacitors on the old board this would rectify the problem and I would then have a spare board if the new unit was to fail in future. My question is do I change out the 1000 microfarad 16v electrolytic capacitor and the 100 microfarad 25v electrolytic capacitor on the board and are there any other components that should be changed whilst I am at it. The 1000 microfarad capacitor shows signs of a bulging top that could suggest that has failed or is in the process of failing. There is no burning or signs of any other component failure. I note that the moderator ‘Electrofix’ did publish a picture of this board with the components to be replace marked but the picture is unfortunately no longer available to see. Thanks in advanced for any help.

ParticipantHaving difficulty sourcing a supply of the large grey capacitor HJC 1.0 microfarad K MKP-X2 310V to 250V. Any ideas where I might be able to get one. There seems to be several on Ebay but they often do not give the lead spacing.
