Ice is continually building up on the back wall of the fridge and freezing the food, and the freezer is at about -25. To eliminate the possibility of it being slight shortage of gas I recharged it and it was exactly the same, so I changed the pcb but that didn’t solve the problem either. The sensor resistances all appear to be roughly in line with the correct values. According to the manual if the diverter valve is stuck in the fridge cooling position the freezer only gets minimum cooling, and the coil is ok as it oscillates when mains voltage is applied to it. So I’m at a loss with this one.

There’s a previous thread about one of these with the same problem but with no conclusive answers.

    Does anyone have the answer?

Got to the bottom of this one eventually; it was a thermistor problem. I disconnected the thermistors from the board and it has been running ok ever since.
